Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

The Annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is a wonderful experience. It is usually held in the early Spring. I was thrilled to be there for last year's festival.
Each year they have new, wonderful and fun features. Since I don't have a magic crystal ball to
let you see what is going to be shown in this year's festival (and I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise any way), I thought I would show you some of my favorite photos from my past visit.

This is how we were greeted when we walked into Epcot! Notice the welcome sign at Goofy's feet?
Daisy offered to toast marshmallows for any one who was interested, and of course Donald was close by to offer his assistance too.
The Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden was a lot of fun to walk through.  The Tinkerbell Topiary along with other fairy topiaries were adorable and the foliage surrounding them was gorgeous.
You can even see the butterfly house behind this little fairy.  The doors to the butterfly house were made of plastic chains that you pushed aside to walk in. Once inside you were surrounded by delightful butterflies flitting among the beautiful flowers.
The Lady and the Tramp topiaries were fantastic!  It was hard not to sing the song, "The Lady Is A Tramp" as I walked by. I loved the way the container gardens were arranged here too.
Flowers were everywhere you looked! The Foxgloves were among my favorites.
Container gardens were scattered all around Epcot too. Some photos were taken so I could remember what plants I liked grouped together when I planted my flowers next year.
Epcot features the Flower Power Concerts which are held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. When I was there it was Davy Jones' turn to wow the crowd. We had a good time listening to him and it brought back memories from the Monkees Show.  Hey hey we're the Monkees......
Another favorite sight of mine was Minnie and Mickey all decked out like farmers. Looks like they had
a bumper crop!
So are you ready to go to Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival now?

I think this is my favorite time to be at Walt Disney World. I absolutely loved strolling through the gardens.
